Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training
“WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER TO GET STRONGER!”
ACCELERATED RECONDITIONING: Through early intervention and targeted muscle growth / hypertrophy
How BFR Training Works
- Brief and intermittent restriction of blood flow to a limb(s)
- Produces blood and muscles changes similar to heavy weight training
- Triggers a physiological response such as muscle protein synthesis without having to lift heavy weights/resistances.
Why BFR Training
- Build muscle and increase strength during a period where you are unable to lift heavy resistances
- Combat muscle atrophy post surgery
- Faster rehabilitation
- Quicker recovery times
- Comparable adaptations to heavy resistance training
